Worldwide, Mirai Global Corporation is synonymous with quality and safety. Our Quality Policy (pdf) summarizes our commitment, including:

We respect and promote human rights throughout our organization, following the United Nations Guiding Principles and the Ten Principles of the United Nations Global Compact. We have established robust internal policies and systems that enable us to swiftly identify and address issues. In particular, we strongly oppose any violation of human rights, with zero tolerance for child labor, forced labor, and modern slavery.

Diversity and inclusion

Diversity and inclusion are integral parts of our culture. We treat each other with respect and promote the inclusion of all communities, cultures, and ages. At the same time, we are actively working to improve gender balance.

If our partners violate our business principles, we request an open and transparent discussion. This allows us to work together to rectify mistakes and move forward in a positive manner.

Environmental sustainability

We believe in preserving the planet for future generations. That’s why we are committed to all developments in both business projects and recyclable or reusable packaging materials, reducing waste, and exploring circular business models.

At every stage of the product lifecycle, we strive to use resources efficiently. We advocate for sustainably managed renewable resources and are working to manage water, reduce plastic, and lower our emissions. We have also committed to achieving net-zero emissions by 2050.

Business integrity

Our mission to improve the quality of life means that ethics and integrity are vital components of our business. We have non-negotiable standards when it comes to key areas of behavior, such as integrity, compliance with laws, conflicts of interest, anti-competitive practices and fair dealing, bribery, corruption (UNC Principle 10), discrimination and harassment, as well as accurate reporting and accounting.

We take the same approach to data and privacy. We respect the rights of individuals, businesses, and partners regarding their personal data and recognize that privacy is a fundamental human right.

Ethics and integrity

The Global Mirai Corp Business Code of Conduct outlines the minimum standards in key areas of employee behavior. We expect our employees and third parties to embrace these principles:

  • Act legally and honestly, disclosing and resolving conflicts of interest.
  • Compete in full compliance with antimonopoly laws, competition, and fair dealing.
  • Employees are prohibited from engaging in bribery, corruption, or any illicit activity.
  • All financial records must align with our accounting standards and international accounting norms.

Privacy and ethical data management

Our Global Privacy Program ensures that privacy is integrated into our business operations and that data is handled legally. As such, all data is kept secure and protected against unauthorized processing, illegal destruction, loss, or misuse.

Additionally, we avoid the use of technology and data in ways that could lead to discrimination, exploitation, or harm. This includes a commitment to the ethical use of Artificial Intelligence.

Compliance

Our Compliance Program supports the Corporate Business Principles of Mirai Global Corp, based on ethics, integrity, and the mindset of ‘doing the right thing for the right reason.’ Our compliance is assessed through our Control Program, which relies on a network of mixed, independent external and internal audits, as well as other external independent audits and certifications.

We continually enhance communications, processes, and training to ensure compliance with Mirai Global Corp’s Corporate Business Principles and address any gaps whenever necessary, with zero tolerance for non-compliance.

Our transparency portal is widely accessible, allowing our employees and external stakeholders to raise concerns about potential non-compliance. We investigate all raised concerns and prohibit retaliation against any employee for such reports made in good faith.

Implementing our Corporate Business Principles

Every employee is committed to adhering to Mirai Global Corp’s Corporate Business Principles, regardless of their location. Our Business Code of Conduct helps us implement these principles. The code establishes non-negotiable standards of behavior in key areas. It is not intended to cover every possible issue but is designed to provide a framework. This allows us to gauge any activity and ensure accountability.

Our Code of Business Conduct

This Business Code of Conduct specifies and aids in the ongoing implementation of the Corporate Business Principles by establishing certain non-negotiable minimum standards of behavior in key areas.

Employees should always be guided by the following basic principles:

  • Avoid any conduct that may harm or jeopardize the Corporation or its reputation.
  • Act in good faith, legally, and honestly.
  • Prioritize the interests of the Company over personal or other interests.
